Service Protection Devices SPDs

September 15th, 2014 | Posted by Susan Woodland in Uncategorized

To comply with the Service and Installation Rules of NSW all electricity customers must provide, install and maintain an approved and tamper-proof service protection device. For installations with maximum demand up to 100 amps per phase the device must be located at the meter, and for demand above 100A per phase the device must be next to the main switchboard or incorporated into the main switchboard.

The Galpern Group has been involved in upgrading several client switchboards to ensure they are compliant with the NSW regulations.
